In an effort to bring a small Christmas smile to the people of Lautoka, around 120 enthusiastic environmental youths have traveled to the Sugar City from Suva this morning to assist in the ongoing cleanup.
Speaking to Fijivillage from Lautoka, Fiji Youth Cleanup Organizer and Former Hibiscus Queen Alisi Rabukawaqa said they are cleaning up four different areas there including the Botanical Gardens.
Rabukawaqa added the youths are returning to Suva at 5pm and that their trip was only possible after funding for travel expenses were funded by different cooperate organisations.
