The value of foreign investment and the number of investment projects increased significantly last year compared to the year 2009.
Investment is one of the main drivers of any country’s economy and also creates the much needed opportunities including jobs, and the Fiji Trade and Investment Bureau CEO Ravuni Uluilakeba said foreign investments in Fiji bounced back in 2010.
Uluilakeba the financial and tourism sectors led the foreign investment growth last year.
Meanwhile FTIB says potential investors continue to show interest in investing in Fiji this year.
