Weleilakeba allowed to travel overseas
The former Fijian Holdings Group Managing Director Sitiveni Weleilakeba has been allowed to travel overseas for three months by the Suva High Court.

Weleilakeba who has been charged by the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption with one count of forgery and one count of uttering on forged document appeared in Suva High court this morning.

FICAC lawyer Laisa Lagilevu asked for an assurity to be provided and Weleilakeba has been allowed to travel overseas however Judge Justice Priyantha Fernando ordered Weleilakeba to be back in the country by 20th May this year.

He has been allowed to travel and Praveen Patel is acting as his assurity on the sum of $20,000.
