Mata Dance group a hit at Fiji Showcase

The Mata Dance group which won the Mega Crew Division and Varsity Division in the Hip Hop International South Pacific Qualifier in New Zealand in April this year is performing at Fiji Showcase at the FMF Gymnasium.

They are performing from 5pm to 5.30pm today.

Local band, One to Eight will also perform for the Legend FM Local Vocal from 2.30pm to 4pm. They will be performing songs from the 70's to the latest hits as well as Latin music.

All performances will be on the Mission Pacific external entertainment stage.

Another lucky person will be walking away with a Fiji Airways return ticket to Sydney today.

All people have to do to win the Fiji Airways return ticket to Sydney is put their Fiji Showcase entry ticket into the entry bin. The draw is at 8.45 tonight.

The Penguins of Madagascar and Pikachu from the movie Pokemon will putting on a character show for kids from 4pm to 4.30pm.

The Navtarang/Sargam Hungama night is from 7pm till 8.30pm where personalities from the two stations will take the stage.

Navtarang Sargam Programs Director Satya Nand says there will be one of a kind dance offs, group performances, comedy shows as well as many surprise items.

Team Madonna and Team Backstreet Boys will face off in the final of the Legend FM Trump Ten Tournament from 6pm to 6.30pm. The winner will walk away with $1,000.

The final of the FM96 PS4 Ultimate Battle Competition Injustice 2 will be played between 7pm to 8pm and the winner gets $1,000.

There are 127 booths at Fiji Showcase offering below retail prices and fun cash competitions.

Fiji Showcase will close at 9 tonight and runs until the 20th of July.
