Ash cloud from Vanuatu's Mount Aoba Volcanic Eruption affects flight operations

A significant ash cloud caused by the Mount Aoba Volcanic Eruption in Vanuatu has severely affected flight operations around the region today.

Fijivillage has received confirmation that a number of Fiji Airways and Fiji Link flights will also be impacted.

Fiji Airways says safety remains paramount for the Group and safety assessments will be made continuously regarding the Ash Cloud situation.
