Swire Shipping Fijian Drua Vice Captain Isoa Nasilasila is confident they can showcase some great rugby when they take on defending Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific champions, the Crusaders, this Friday in Christchurch, if they play the full 80 minutes.
Speaking after their 40-15 loss to the Blues, Nasilasila says they played really well in the first half, and their physicality and discipline over the full 80 minutes will be key.
He says if they can build on that and deliver a complete performance, it will help them when they travel to Christchurch.
The Fijian Drua held their own at Eden Park against the Blues in the first half, but a few mistakes cost them crucial points that could have impacted the result.
They were trailing 14-12 at half-time and managed to take a 15-14 lead within the first three minutes of the second half.
However, due to simple mistakes, the Blues ran rampant against the Drua.
This week, the Fijian Drua will take on the Crusaders at 6.05pm Friday at Apollo Stadium in Christchurch.
In other matches, the Chiefs will face the Waratahs at 6.05pm Saturday and the Reds will meet the Force at 8.35pm.
