The Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s side has an uphill battle at the Vancouver 7s this weekend as they face neighbours Australia at 9.31am Sunday in their first pool match.
They then take on the USA at 12.57pm, before meeting Canada at 4.46pm.
The last time the Fijiana were on the podium in Vancouver was during the 2021-2022 season, where they won bronze.
The Women's Cup semi-finals start from 9.17am Monday, while the Cup final kicks off at 2.08pm.
