Perth 7s: Fijiana 7s finish in 7th place after thrashing Great Britain 41-5

The Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s finished in 7th place at the HSBC SVNS Perth 7s after demolishing Great Britain 41-5 in the seventh-place play-off.

Fiji dominated the match, scoring five tries in the first half through Verenaisi Ditavutu, Kolora Lomani, Mere Vocevoce, Vani Buleki and Rogosau Adimereani.

The Fijiana scored another try in the second half through Ana Maria Naimasi to extend their lead to 36-0.

Jenny Hesketh got one back for Great Britain, but Fiji got the final say through Ditavutu.

Meanwhile, the Fiji Men’s 7s will take on South Africa at 9.04 tonight in the men’s final.
