Despite losing some of their key players to overseas rugby clubs, the Navy Women's 7s team is confident that they can retain the women's title at the 50th Fiji Bitter Marist 7s tournament.
Captain Lavenia Tinai says this year will not be easy, as most teams have been preparing well for the competition.
She says they are looking forward to this week, as they will showcase what they have been preparing for.
She adds that even though some of their players have moved overseas, she is confident that the new players will step up to the task at hand.

Navy is in Pool C with Loloma Heights, Lilian Amazons and Striders Women.
The Marist 7s kicks off tomorrow with the women’s and the U21 competitions, while the men’s competition will start on Friday.
The finals will be held on Saturday.
