Jackson disappointed with officiating in Drua’s loss to Crusaders

Fijian Drua coach Glen Jackson
Swire Shipping Fijian Drua Coach Glen Jackson has stated that he is pretty disappointed in the way their game against the Crusaders was officiated, saying referee Paul Williamson put his hand up on a few things.

Jackson highlighted this to the media from the Drua base in Nadi, saying they certainly do not want to be a team that moans, but it was clear from the start that the Crusaders would give away penalties.

He says how one of the tries was awarded is mind-boggling as Haereiti Hetet did a great job on sacking the line-out, for which they get penalised, which goes to a maul for the Crusaders, from which they score.

Jackson says it is certainly disappointing that they continue to, unfortunately, not get the rub of the green.

Australian Damon Murphy will be controlling this weekend's game, with Jackson hoping for a fast game.

Jackson stresses that they will probably have to continue with the heat regulation, so it will be a stop-start affair.

When asked about the Chay Fihaki try, as one of the forwards was taken out by George Bower next to the ruck, Jackson says these things seem to happen on the road with the odds against them.
