The Fiji Airways Fijiana finished 6th at the HSBC Vancouver SVNS after losing 26-19 to Canada in the fifth-place playoff this morning.
The Canadians started strong, scoring three tries in the first half to lead 21-7 at halftime.
The Fijiana's first try came from Atelaite Ralivanawa in the final minutes of the first half.
They added two more tries in the second half through Mariana Talatoka and Adi Vani Buleki.
Carissa Norsten scored for Canada to seal their win.
Meanwhile, Australia will face New Zealand in the women’s final at 1.08pm today.
