Jhaire Cokanauto of Queen Victoria School broke two records in the Coca Cola Tailevu Zone Sub-Junior long jump and 400 metres events.
Cokanauto jumped a distance of 6.14 metres in the long jump, beating the old record of 5.43 metres set by Ratu Davui of RKS in 2014.
In the 400 metres, he stopped the clock at 55.01 seconds, shattering the old record of 56.06 seconds set by Viliame Narara of RKS last year.
Meanwhile, QVS leads the boys division with 15 gold, 10 silver and 11 bronze. Ratu Kadavulevu School is in second place with 7 gold, 11 silver and 9 bronze, while Tailevu North College is third with 2 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze.
