The Super Rugby Pacific community will come together to celebrate and support the grassroots game with the competition’s inaugural Club Rugby Round confirmed for Round 4 of the 2026 season.
The 11 Super Rugby Pacific clubs will use the week commencing Monday 2 March 2026 to connect with their local community clubs, shine a spotlight on the heroes of the grassroots game and help promote club registration for the upcoming season.
Club rugby participants will star in pre-game and half-time entertainment across Australia and New Zealand, while the Super Rugby Pacific players will don the socks of community clubs that have played important roles in their journeys.
The Highlanders will stage a sprint race to crown the fastest club player in their region and club relay races in Sydney and Canberra will put bragging rights firmly on the line.
The ever-popular Kids Round also makes a return in 2026, with the next generation of players, pundits and fans to take centre stage in Round 15.
From engaging with local schools and junior clubs, to inviting kids to design the game day graphics and playlists, the Super Rugby Pacific clubs will give youth the chance to shine.
Super Rugby Pacific CEO Jack Mesley says they are delighted to confirm the introduction of Club Rugby Round and the return of Kids Round as they count down to the 2026 Super Rugby Pacific season.
Mesley says Club Rugby Round is a special opportunity to connect with their local rugby communities and celebrate the clubs, players and volunteers who are the foundation of our game.
