Fiji Airways Flying Fijians fly-half Ben Volavola has called time on his two-year stint at Racing 92 and is set to step down into the Pro D2 competition.
The Flying Fijian star has spent the majority of his stay in Paris playing second fiddle to Finn Russell, starting just two matches this past season alone.
The 29-year-old is now set to forge his path by signing with second-tier Perpignan (Per-pin-ya) whose likely promotion back to the Top 14 competition was foiled by the recent termination of the French season due to the coronavirus pandemic.
According to Fiji Rugby Union, Volavola has played a total of 32 test for the Flying Fijians with a total of 196 points.
He has also represented Fiji in two Rugby World Cups including the 2015 and 2019 Rugby World Cup competition.
