More than $150,000 has been collected through the Communications Fiji Foundation Charity Walk, and people can continue to contribute to the cause to assist the children living with cancer.

People from all walks of life joined the walk from Nausori to Suva on Saturday, and contributions were made from around Fiji and the world.

CFL General Manager, Charles Taylor says he has been blown away by the response to the initiative and confirms the campaign has not closed yet.

He says people from all corners of the world who want to donate are continuing to do so online as they receive information about the cause.

Taylor also confirms that they are giving people in the North a chance to help children living with cancer.

He says a few high-profile personalities, including Satya Nand and Jai from Labasa, will be on the ground in the North in the next couple of weeks to collect donations.

While acknowledging people for coming forward to assist, Taylor says it is very important to help children living with cancer.

He says CFL, the parent company of fijivillage, LegendFM, FM96, Navtarang, Radio Sargam and VITIFM, has supported WOWS Kids Fiji in the past and to date has been the biggest donor.

Taylor says the big dream is to have a house where children with cancer can be safe and healthy, including those in their final days, where they can feel cared for and at peace.

Donations can be sent via:
