Team Fiji to the Paris Olympics drew a crowd of athletes, officials and volunteers from other countries with their vocal singing during their devotion yesterday at the Games Village.

A video taken by Team Fiji’s Chef de Mission Sale Sorovaki showed a few athletes, officials and volunteers gathered outside the venue where Team Fiji was having their devotion, holding their phones and recording the team as they sang the famous ‘Rai Vei Jisu’ hymn.

Meanwhile, the teams that are now in Paris include the Men’s Rugby 7s side, swimming, athletics, table tennis and taekwondo.

The Women’s Rugby 7s side will join the rest of the team at the Games Village today.

Team Fiji Sailors Sophia Morgan and Vili Ratulu are based in Marseille and will join the team later next week.

The Paris Olympics will kick off with the football and the rugby 7s competition on Thursday.
