Taveuni U13s dominate day one of Vodafone Kaji and Kajiana Rugby Competition

The defending Kajiana U13 champions, Taveuni, proved their dominance on day one of the Vodafone Kaji and Kajiana Rugby Competition at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva yesterday.

Taveuni thrashed Gau 36-10 in their first pool match and then defeated Tavua/Vatukoula 52-10.

In Pool B, Wainibuka beat Nasinu 20-0 and drew 5-5 against the Cakaudrove Sharks.

In Pool C, Navosa beat Naitasiri 26-0 and followed up with a 19-0 win over Macuata.

In the U13 Kaji rugby division, Suva Blues edged Kadavu 7-0 but narrowly lost to Northland 7-5 in Pool A.

In Pool B, Ovalau dominated Naitasiri 24-0, while Wainibuka secured a 5-0 victory in their second match.

In the U14 Kaji and Kajiana grades, Kadavu beat Nasinu 21-5 and followed with a 21-5 win over Koro in Pool A of the Kajiana division.

The U14 Kaji grade saw Suva White defeat Wainibuka 26-0, and Northland also beat Wainibuka 10-0.

The second day of the competition is currently underway at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
