Sports has changed the lives of many youths and residents in Naitasiri through the FlameTree Waimanu 7s, and organisers today launched the third edition of the tournament along with its ongoing partnership.

Tournament Director Alipate Savai says the launch marks an important milestone as they prepare for another competitive year of rugby.

He acknowledges the support of major sponsor Flame Tree Development (Fiji) Pte Ltd and its Director, Glen Wakeman, saying their commitment has helped uplift youth development in the area.

Savai says the people of Vuna are grateful for the continued support that has contributed to promoting rugby excellence, healthy lifestyles, and stronger community engagement.

He adds that the partnership with Flame Tree aligns with their efforts to promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and social responsibility.

Savai welcomed all teams, players, and supporters to the 3rd FlameTree Waimanu 7s and says they are preparing for an action-packed tournament.

The tournament will be played next Friday and Saturday.
