The Fiji Football Association has received a timely $600,000 sponsorship boost from the Extra Supermarket.

The deal is for 5 years.

Fiji FA President, Rajesh Patel says with this sponsorship, they can now confirm that Extra Supermarket is their official supermarket partner.

Patel says as part of this sponsorship deal, Extra Supermarket also gets the naming rights for the Futsal Inter District Championship, Futsal Super League, Futsal International Friendlies, and the Viti Futsal Cup.

He adds it is indeed a timely boost for them as they have a very busy schedule this year and of course in the coming years as far as the national team commitments are concerned.

Extra Supermarket Director Abhishek Abhimannu says that the company is proud to be associated with Fiji Football as its official supermarket partner.

He says this sponsorship further adds to activities that Extra undertakes as part of Extra Supermarket’s Corporate Social Responsibility to support and assist the community at large in Fiji.
