The Adi Cakobau School team will be relying upon the leadership of Imeri Nasali, Francis Tuva, Filomena Navula, Domitila Naita, Melania Tahiri and Hanna Pearlsiana Matavesi as they try to defend their title at the Coca-Cola games this week.

Saumaka, Vakabuto, Naita and Tahiri were awarded the best athletes in their grades during the Triple N zone.

Varanisese Saumaka broke the Sub-junior Discus record with a throw of 22.93 while Emi Vakabuto stamped her mark in the Junior Discus event with a new Triple N record of 22.34.

All eyes will be on the senior girls 100 metres where Kesaia Boletakanakadavu of MGM High School clocked 12.53 seconds, Chloe David of Suva Grammar School ran a time of 13.03 seconds, Natabua High Schools’ Mereoni Kuru clocked 13.18 seconds and Melania Tahiri who clocked 13.62 during the ACS inter-house.
