Canada produced a dominant performance to defeat Qatar 6-0 in their FIFA World Cup Group B clash.
The Canadians were already in complete control by halftime, taking a comfortable 3-0 lead into the break through goals from Cyle Larin and Jonathan David, who scored twice in the opening half.
Qatar's task became even more difficult after Homam El Amin was sent off in the 33rd minute, leaving his side to play most of the match with 10 men.
Canada continued to pile on the pressure in the second half as Niko Saliba added a fourth goal before an own goal from Mohammad Manai further increased the lead.
Jonathan David completed a memorable night by scoring his third goal in stoppage time to secure a hat-trick and seal Canada's biggest win of the tournament so far.
The emphatic victory boosts Canada's chances of progressing from Group B, while Qatar will now need a strong response in their remaining matches.
