Tamanisau likely to miss New Caledonia match

Fiji soccer team goalkeeper Simione Tamanisau is likely to miss the World Cup qualifying match against New Caledonia on Saturday.

Tamanisau is not getting his release from work and could be replaced by either Shamal Kumar or Ben Amino.

Plans are also in place to include Suva goalkeeper Azmat Begg in the squad if Tamanisau is ruled out.

Fiji soccer coach Carlos Buzetti said there are a few injury concerns which are also putting him under some pressure.

The Fiji / New Caledonia match will kick on Saturday at 3pm at Govind Park in Ba.
