Fiji Rugby Union coaching director Ilivasi Tabua had today revealed that although there will be no Colonial Cup competition next year, it won't affect the selectors to pick the players for competitions such as IRB Pacific Rugby Cup and Pacific Nations Cup.
Tabua said the Fiji Warriors and Barbarians team to take part in the two IRB sanctioned tournaments next season will be identified from the top 60 players who were part of the Digicel Cup and Farebrother Sullivan trophy competition this year.
Tabua said there is also a plan in place for both the Warriors and Barbarians sides in trying to end their losing streak in the Pacific Rugby Cup.
The names of the players to be in the team are likely to be released in February next year.
