Phil Foden and Harry Maguire will not play for England in the 2026 FIFA World Cup as England coach Thomas Tuchel didn't name them in his 26-man squad.
Maguire says he was “shocked and gutted” by the decision.
In a post on Instagram, Maguire says he believed he could still make a major contribution for England after his performances this season.
The World Cup, which will be hosted across the United States, Mexico and Canada, begins on the 11th of June.
