Russia thrashes Saudi Arabia in FIFA World Cup opening match

Russia has thrashed Saudi Arabia 5-0 in the opening match of the 2018 FIFA World Cup this morning.

Russian player Denis Cheryshev is the first to score twice in a World Cup game.

Other goals were scored by Aleksandr Golovin Artem Dzyuba and Yuri Gazinskiy

Tomorrow, Egypt will face Uruguay at 12am, Morocco faces Iran at 3am, Portugal faces Spain at 6am and France faces Australia at 10pm.
