Doctor Sivendra Michael and Doctor Raijeli Taga graduate with Master’s degree in Environmental Law

Permanent Secretary for Environment and Climate Change, Doctor Sivendra Michael, and Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs and External Trade, Doctor Raijeli Taga, have graduated today with a Master’s degree in Environmental Law from the University of the South Pacific.

The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change proudly recognizes both their outstanding achievement.

They say while managing the significant responsibilities of their respective roles, both leaders have shown that success is driven not only by hard work but also by discipline, effective time management, and determination.

The Ministry says their accomplishment reflects a strong commitment to lifelong learning and excellence in leadership.

Minister for Environment and Climate Change, Lynda Tabuya, extended her congratulations, emphasizing the critical role of qualified environmental advocates.

She noted that strong legal expertise is vital in advancing environmental protection and upholding justice in the face of growing environmental challenges.
