New event likely to be included in Coke games

A new event, the Girls Triple Jump is likely to be included in the Cola Cola Games this year.

There are a few events that have been highlighted by top Athletics officials to be included in the Coca Cola Games, like Heptathlon, Junior Girls Discus and the Girls Triple Jump.

Coca Cola Games chief organiser Vuli Waqa said Fiji Secondary Schools Athletics Association will meet next week to decide on the inclusion of the new event.

Waqa said the Girls Triple Jump could be included but the other two may take some time.

Meanwhile, Athletics Fiji coach Albert Miller has given the thumbs up for the inclusion of the Girls Triple Jump event this year.
