The Marist U18 rugby team will be banking on their elusive and power packed forwards in the Coke Zero Deans final this weekend.

This was evident in their semifinal clash with Lelean when Marist scored three tries due to strong forward play.

The 3 tries came from their front row players, Josh Rogoimuri, Kaliopasi Uluilkepa and Lionel Monua.

Meanwhile other players including flankers Christian Narain, Ratu Simione Matanitobua and Number 8 Liam Naruhn continue to be impressive for Marist while centre, Eneriko Buliruarua and fullback Sakiusa Waqa have also been standout players.

Marist will meet RKS in the Coke Zero Deans final after 37 years.

The two schools last met in the Deans final in 1978 where the match ended in a draw.

The Coke Zero Deans finals will be held this Saturday at the ANZ Stadium.
