Former National Under 21 rep Maria Lutua who is amongst the 18 girls picked in the national Netball squad will be facing her mentor at the World Netball Championships in July.
Lutua who is playing her trade in Wales revealed that since November last year she has been living with former Fiji coach Melissa Walker and owes her career to the New Zealander.
However she stressed that while it will be a real battle for her at the Championships, she is not going to let her personal involvement with Walker affect her performance.
Fiji has been drawn into the same Pool with New Zealand, Trinidad and Tobago as well as the Melissa Walker coached Welsh side.
The Championships will be held in July in Singapore.
Meanwhile, Lutua joins the likes of Taraima Rara, Matila Waqanidrola, Lusi Robanakadavu and Mere Rabuka in the final 18 member strong Fiji netball side.
