The Lelean Memorial School Under-19 team is raring to bring back the coveted Coca Cola Zero Deans silverware back to Davuilevu this year, after having only won the title in 2006 and losing out in the semifinals last year.
Speaking to Legend FM sports, school Principal Aisea Rarokoliwa said that not only are they coming in to win but to set set the target for the decade.
Meanwhile this week’s Deans quarter finals will start on Friday at 8am with the Tier 2 competition. For the first time schools from the North like Holy Cross Secondary from Taveuni, Labasa College, Saint Bedes and Nadogo Secondary School will be part of the Tier 2 competition. Gates at the National Stadium on Friday will open at 8am and on Saturday at 8.30am for the Tier 1 quarter finals.
In the U-19 grade, Lelean will take on Marist, RKS faces Lomawai Secondary School, Ratu Navula up against Nasinu and in the feature match at 3.30pm QVS will play Suva Grammar. You can catch the live commentary of the Grammar/QVS on our sister station, VitiFM.
