Hurricanes are hopeful All Blacks star Nehe Milner‑Skudder

The Hurricanes are hopeful All Blacks star Nehe Milner‑Skudder's injury sustained last night in the side's physical clash with the Chiefs is not anywhere near as serious as the shoulder‑injury that ended his season last year.

Milner‑Skudder fell down awkwardly on his ankle during last night's 26‑18 defeat in Hamilton and appeared to be in serious discomfort as he was helped from the field in the second half.

Meanwhile, the Brumbies also beat Western Force 25-17 last night.

Henry Speight scored the Brumbies opening try in the 14th minute. This is his second try in three games.

The Waratahs face the Sharks at 5pm today.

The Crusaders will take on the Reds at 8.45 tonight while the Blues will meet the Highlanders at 6.35pm.
