National Netball coach Melissa Walker arrived into the country last night and will head straight into preparing the girls for the upcoming Mini Games in the Cook Islands in a fortnight's time.

Walker will first present herself to the Netball Fiji Executives this week, to explain details from the World Youth Netball Championships.

Meanwhile, the Netball Fiji Council had their meeting last Saturday and Assistant President Wati Seeto has clarified they will sit down with Walker first to iron out certain issues before releasing any details.

It is understood that Walker's position as coach to the Mini Games was discussed in the Council meeting, but they will have to tread on their decision very carefully, as Walker has already signed a three-year contract.

Also, FASANOC has confirmed that no changes will be made to the team list that was submitted earlier, stating that Melissa Walker as coach and Unaisi Rokoura as her Assistant.

The Mini Games kicks off in the Cook Islands on September 24.
