Dunadamu double sinks Ba
Star striker Maciu Dunadamu scored a brace of goals to guide his Labasa side to a 2-1 victory over Ba during the Fiji Sun/Weet Bix National Soccer League at Subrail Park last night.

This marked the Babasiga Lions eighth straight victory in the League and proved that they are serious contenders for the title.

Playing at home under pressure, Labasa got off the blocks quickly to score one of the fastest goals of the National Soccer League.

Dunadamu struck within 45 seconds and later in the 31st minute.

Ba seemed to be down at this stage but the traditional giants got their act together and striker Isimeli Naresia pulled one before the break.

In the second spell Ba searched for the equaliser but was denied by a determined Labasa outfit.

Meanwhile in the other match played last night Navua defeated Nadroga one nil.
