Doidoi to captain Lautoka soccer

Former Ba rep Keni Doidoi has been handed the captaincy role for Lautoka in tomorrow's O-League match against Papua New Guinea's Hekari Souths United.

Doidoi has been one of the top players for Lautoka this season.

Lautoka Soccer President Shalen Prasad said Doidoi has proved to be a good leader on and off the field and also commands good respect from the players.

Defender Samuela Vula will assist Doidoi as vice-captain.

Meanwhile New Zealand based Salesh Kumar and Australian based Nahuel Arrarte and James Choronopoulos have joined the side in PNG.
