Dakuwaqa to debut for Nadi

Masivesi Dakuwaqa in action for the Fiji 7s team in one of his earlier outings.

Vodafone Fiji 7s Olympic Gold Medalist Masivesi Dakuwaqa will make his debut for the Jacks of Fiji Nadi side in the sixth HFC Bank Farebrother Challenge against BLK Nadroga tomorrow.

Dakuwaqa will start at blindside flanker while Meli Rokoua will start at number 7.

Former Flying Fijians and Nadi coach Ilai Derenalagi has roped in Dakuwaqa to try and expose the triple threat that Nadroga pose in their forwards - Nemani Nagusa, Sakiusa Nadruku and Eremasi Radrodro.

Derenalagi has also named Radike Samo’s son, Manasa Bari and Peceli Kato who is the son of former national rep Laisenia Kato.

Other big names who will feature against Nadroga include Maikeli Mudu, Aseri Vatuinaruku, Fiji Warriors center Fredrick Hicks, Sakiusa Nakalevu and fullback Jone Tuitawake.

Nadroga will host Nadi at 2pm tomorrow at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka and you can catch the live commentary on our sister station Viti FM on 92.2FM.
