Crusaders prop Joe Moody has been suspended for two games after pleading guilty for striking Kurtley Beale in their comeback win over the Waratahs on Saturday.

The suspension will see Moody miss matches against the Blues and Hurricanes but 29‑year‑old will return to face the Chiefs.

After Round 13 of the Super Rugby competition, the Crusaders lead the Overall Standings with 42 points, the Lions are second with 31 points and the Waratahs are third with 26 points.

In the Super Rugby competition this week, the Hurricanes meet the Reds at 7.35pm Friday.

The Blues meet the Crusaders at 7.35pm Saturday and the Highlanders face the Waratahs at 9.45pm.
