The Fiji Corrections Service has confirmed they have stopped all dealings with Ilai Tinai and that includes withholding his pay as he is currently in Sri Lanka on a rugby contract.
This was confirmed to Legend FM sports by Commissioner of the Fiji Correction Services Colonel Ifereimi Vasu and they will wait for Tinai to return and resign formally.
Tinai left last week with Setefano Cakau for a short stint in Sri Lanka and has been dropped from the Fiji 7s squad.
Meanwhile, Fiji 7s team Manager Paula Biu is still awaiting an official confirmation from the Fiji Correction Services regarding Ilai Tinai's reason for not turning to camp yesterday.
