Young weightlifting sensation, Eileen Cikamatana won an overall silver medal in the 90kg category at the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) Junior World Championships in Tokyo.
Cikamatana lifted 97kg in the snatch to win a bronze medal, 132kg in the Clean and Jerk to win a silver medal, giving her a total of 229kg for overall Silver.
This builds on her performance from last year where she won an overall Bronze medal in the Youth World Championships in Malaysia.
The 17‑year‑old from Taviya, Ovalau was very pleased with her performance.
