Sera Nasilivata claimed her first silver medal at the Darwin Oceania Athletics Championships after Team Fiji U18 women’s 4x100 metres relay team finished second with a time of 49 seconds.
The quartet of Abigail Koroi, Veniana Ranadi, Sesenieli Rasoki, and Nasivata delivered a strong performance throughout the race.
In other results, the U18 boys’ relay team won bronze in the men’s 4x100 metres relay with a time of 43.26 seconds.
Ebenezer Saukuru claimed his second medal of the games, while his teammates celebrated their first of the competition.

Team Fiji also continued its strong outing in the field events, with Setareki Dawai winning bronze in the U18 boys’ discus throw.
Dawai recorded a throw of 54.97 metres, which was also a personal best.
Heleina Young finished third in her 100 metre heats before placing seventh in the final.
Meanwhile, Loata Lewageena placed fourth in the open women’s discus throw with a distance of 45.82 metres.
Looking at today's events, Elijah Tokatokavanua and Sunia Raitava will feature in the Masters men's 200 metres at 6.20pm, Suva Grammar's Jolame Suguturaga and Marist Brothers High School's Nagado Asaeli will participate in the U18 men's 200 metres heats at 7.25pm, MGM's Sera Nasilivata and Sesenieli Rasoki will take part in the U18 women's 200 metres heats at 8.35pm, while Avikash Lal will participate in the Senior men's 800 metres at 8.50pm.
The mixed team consisting of Suguturaga, Nasilasila, Rasoki and Asaeli will feature in the U18 mixed 4x100 metres relay at 10.58pm.
