Grammar's Rasoki claims intermediate girls 400m gold

Senieli Rasoki of Suva Grammar School produced a commanding performance to secure gold in the Intermediate Girls 400 metres final at the Coca-Cola Games in Suva this afternoon. 

Hailing from Serua, with maternal links to Kadavu, Rasoki told fijivillage Sports that she rose above a strong field to clinch victory, adding another proud achievement to Suva Grammar’s athletics legacy.

Following her win, Rasoki dedicated the achievement to those who played a significant role in her journey, particularly her family, supporters and school community.

She says she was most grateful towards her coach Jone Delai for the time he scarificed to traun her.

Rasoki also acknowledged her roots, extending the victory to those back in her village.
