The Chiefs aren't giving up on a spot in this year's Super Rugby finals, despite another setback in last night's 47‑19 defeat to the Hurricanes.

After 10 matches played in 2019, the Chiefs sit bottom of the New Zealand conference, and 14th on the overall table with just three wins, six losses and one draw to show for their efforts.
Mathematically, the Chiefs will need to win every game they have left this season, as well as relying on other results going in their favour to have any chance of making the finals.
The Chiefs will look to keep their season alive next week, travelling to Dunedin to face the Highlanders.
Also, the Brumbies' Super Rugby finals hopes have suffered a major blow in a 20‑15 defeat at the hands of the Argentina Jaguares this morning.
In other results, the Crusaders beat the Lions 36-10, the Highlanders thrashed the Sunwolves 52-nil, the Sharks beat the Waratahs 23-15, the Bulls defeated the Stormers 24-23.
