Fiji Baby Pearls have defeated Samoa 37-29 in their second match of the Digicel/Punjas International Youth Netball Series.

The Fiji U21 Netball team has recorded their first win in the Digicel / Punjas International Youth Netball Series beating Samoa 37-29 in their second match at the Vodafone arena last night.

Fiji U21 Coach, Vicki Wilson says the team was very good defensively but the girls squandered a lot of the ball in their forward line and made far too many costly errors.

Meanwhile, current World Youth Netball Champions New Zealand was toppled by World number 2 Australia 56-40 last night.

The Fiji U21 Netball team will now face New Zealand at 6.40pm  today while Australia play Samoa at 4.00pm at the Vodafone Arena.
