Canelo Alvarez has defended his WBC middleweight title after knocking Amir Khan in the sixth round.
A massive right hand from Alvarez ended the fight in dramatic fashion.
Khan was leading on the scorecards but Alvarez as everyone feared landed a right shot on Khan’s jaw.
Khan was ahead on scorecard in the first four rounds, but his Mexican opponent floored him with a huge right.
Prior to the knockout, Khan had not really been hurt at all during the fight.
Alvarez is set to earn around $45 million after wining the fight, and it can increase depending on pay‑per‑view figures in America.
Meanwhile, Amir Khan has made $27 million from this fight.
