The All Blacks coaching staff are probably breathing a sigh of relief with Ben Smith's injury seemingly not as bad as first feared.
Smith was the major concern from the Highlanders' 31‑all draw with the Chiefs in Dunedin last night, requiring assistance to limp off in the second half.
There was thought Smith may have done serious structural damage to his knee, but Highlanders coach Aaron Mauger had happier news to report.
Meanwhile, in other Super Rugby match results, the Brumbies defeated the Blues 26‑21, the Jaguares defeated the Stormers 30-25, the Hurricanes defeated the Rebels 29-19 while the Bulls beat the Waratahs 28-21.
At the end of Round 12, the Crusaders still lead the Points table with 42 points, the Bulls are in second place with 28 points, in third place are the Rebels with 24 points while the Hurricanes are in fourth place with 36 points.
