79 days to go till the Pulse Energy Highlanders will host the Gallagher Chiefs at the ANZ National Stadium in Suva on the 30th June.

While speaking at a press conference this afternoon Fiji Sports Council CEO and Super Rugby Steering Committee Chair Litiana Loabuka confirmed that this year as part of the draw, it will be the Highlanders home game at the ANZ National Stadium in Suva.

Loabuka says that the Super Rugby Steering Committee has been working closely with the Highlanders since January this year to make sure that all logistical details are confirmed and in place.

She has also highlighted that a video that was sent in from the Highlanders shows the team is pretty keen and the Fijian players on the team are looking forward to playing in Fiji and are calling out to all Fijians to support the Highlanders on 30th June.

Loabuka says in the campaign build up to the Highlanders-Chiefs clash the Fiji Sports Council will be launching a cheering competition tomorrow through which people can win Highlanders jerseys and tickets to watch the Highlanders at the ANZ Stadium.

She says that local engagements are being planned to have the teams visit schools and communities when they arrive in Fiji on the week of the game.

Meanwhile, there are two players with Fiji connections in the Highlanders.

They are All Black Waisake Naholo and another up and coming player in outside back Tevita Nabura.

Tickets prices for the match vary from $20 for the grass, $30 for the concrete embarkment, $140 for the gold tickets, $160 for the red zone tickets and $180 platinum tickets.
