53rd Super Bowl between the New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams underway

The 53rd Super Bowl between the New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams is under way with the Patriots leading 3-0.

It is currently half time.

Victory would mean the Patriots tie the Pittsburgh Steelers' record of six titles and give quarterback Tom Brady more Super Bowl rings than any other player.

This is the biggest American football game of the year.

Meanwhile, Maroon 5 are the 2019 Super Bowl half‑time show headliners.

It's one of the biggest gigs in the world ‑ more than 100 million people watched Justin Timberlake's 2018 show.
