With Term 1 well underway,the Ministry of Finance says 4,081 applications for the Back to School assistance programme were identified with issues, including duplicate entries, missing details and these cases will need further verification.
The Ministry is urging applicants with issues in their applications to correct the required details to ensure processing can continue smoothly.
Meanwhile, a total of 212,845 applications were received.
The Ministry says out of these, 208,764 applications have been approved for payment.
The Ministry says the total payment for the programme, including fees, stands at $42.1 million, while the payment amount excluding fees is $41.8 million.
