2014 FIBA Under-19 Oceania Basketball Championship underway

The 2014 FIBA Under-19 Oceania Basketball Championship is now underway at the Vodafone Arena.

10 teams will compete from across the region in the championship in both the mens and womens competitions, with a spot in the World Championships in Greece in June next year on offer for the winners.

The Australian Women's team is currently taking on American Samoa while the Fiji women's team will play Samoa at 5pm and the mens team will play American Samoa at 7 tonight.
