Man pleads not guilty to 9 rape charges after stepdaughter allegedly falls pregnant
A 41-year-old man charged with nine counts of rape of his 14-year-old stepdaughter, resulting in her pregnancy, has pleaded not guilty to all the charges and has been further remanded in custody.

The man appeared in the Lautoka High Court earlier this week.

It is alleged that between 2020 and 2026, he raped his stepdaughter multiple times. 

The alleged incident started when the victim was 8-years-old in 2020.

The girl is pregnant as a result of the alleged abuse.

The State filed the Information and Disclosures and the man pleaded not guilty to all the charges.

The matter has been adjourned to the 26th of this month for bail hearing.
