The Opposition raised five key issues they are concerned with, in a meeting with the Prime Minister of New Zealand, John Key this morning.
A delegation from the Opposition office including the Opposition leader Ro Teimumu Kepa, Salote Radrodro, and Viliame Gavoka had a brief meeting with Key.
They used the opportunity to raise the issue of the suspension of NFP MP, Tupou Draunidalo and SODELPA MP Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu from parliament.
Ro Teimumu said she also apologised for what they called threats that were made by the Prime Minister, Voreqe Bainimarama at the welcome banquet last night.
She said the existence of the Media Decree in Fiji as well as the changes to the parliamentary standing orders to remove the Chairman of the Public Accounts were raised in the meeting.
The Opposition Leader also claimed to the New Zealand Prime Minister that there is lack of transparency in the processes of the Constitutional Officers Commission.
Ro Teimumu also thanked New Zealand for their support to Fiji in the aftermath of Cyclone Winston.
